Disintegrating vampires in to smoke and ash was something we thought about for about 2 seconds and then said YES to.
We handled an array of VFX needs for Vampires v. The Bronx, directed by our good friend Oz Rodriguez. Our main task was designing and realizing what took place when a vampire got the ole wooden stake to the heart, causing them to burst into flames and break apart in to a cloud of smoke and embers.
On top of that, we tackled vampire face effects, matte paintings, wire paintouts, screen comps and designs.
